Job Description
The Family Practice with Obstetrics (FPOB) Physician provides comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages, with a focus on prenatal, perinatal, and postpartum services.
Deliver full-spectrum family medicine including wellness exams, chronic disease management, urgent care, and minor procedures. Perform obstetric care such as prenatal visits, labor, delivery, postpartum follow-up, and newborn care. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and participate in quality initiatives and patient-centered activities. Educate patients on health promotion, disease prevention, and maternal health. Maintain accurate documentation in the EHR and participate in community outreach and call rotations. Assist in hospital labor and delivery coverage, including after-hours and weekends. Qualifications include an MD or DO, completion of a family medicine residency, additional obstetric training, an active medical license, and board certification or eligibility in family medicine. Certifications in BLS, ACLS, NRP, and ALSO are preferred.
