The Family Practice with Obstetrics (FPOB) Physician provides comprehensive primary care across all ages, with a focus on prenatal, perinatal, and postpartum services.
Deliver full-spectrum family medicine, including wellness exams, chronic disease management, urgent care, and minor procedures. Perform obstetric care such as prenatal visits, labor management, deliveries (vaginal and cesarean if credentialed), and postpartum follow-up. Care for newborns and pediatric patients as part of family-centered services. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and participate in quality improvement and community outreach activities. Educate patients on health promotion and disease prevention. Maintain accurate documentation in the EHR and participate in hospital call schedules, including after-hours and weekends. Qualifications: MD or DO, completed family medicine residency, additional obstetric training or competency, unrestricted medical license, board certification or eligibility, hospital privileges, and current certifications in BLS, ACLS, NRP, and preferably ALSO.
