Job Description
Seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP), Physician Assistant (PA), or Medical Director (MD) with a passion for wound care to join a mobile wound care team in Charlottesville, N. Virginia (Alexandria), or Virginia Beach.
Provide advanced wound assessments, treatments, and follow-up care in patients’ homes and care facilities.
Perform bedside procedures such as debridement and dressing changes.
Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure continuity of care and educate patients/caregivers on wound management.
Utilize EMR systems for documentation and participate in care planning to reduce rehospitalizations.
Qualifications include Virginia licensure as NP or PA, with preferred wound care or home health experience. Strong clinical skills, communication, and reliable transportation are required.
Flexible full-time or part-time schedules with competitive pay ($55–$70/hr), benefits, and ongoing training.
This role offers autonomy, meaningful patient impact, and a supportive team environment. Prior home health experience is preferred, with a minimum of 1 year in wound care or home health recommended.
