Job Description
Seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP), Physician Assistant (PA), or Medical Director (MD) with a passion for wound care to join a mobile wound care team in Charlottesville, N. Virginia (Alexandria), or Virginia Beach.
Provide advanced wound evaluations, treatments, and follow-ups in patients’ homes, skilled nursing, and long-term care settings.
Perform bedside procedures such as debridement, dressing changes, and assessments.
Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure continuity of care and educate patients and caregivers on wound management.
Utilize EMR systems for documentation and participate in care planning to reduce rehospitalizations.
Qualifications include Virginia licensure, 1+ year of NP/PA experience, with preferred home health and wound care background; strong assessment, communication skills, and reliable transportation are required.
