Job Description
Seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP), Physician Assistant (PA), or Medical Director (MD) with a passion for wound care to join a mobile wound care team in Charlottesville, N. Virginia (Alexandria), or Virginia Beach.
Provide advanced wound assessment, treatment, and follow-up in various settings, including bedside procedures like debridement and dressing changes.
Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care and educate patients/caregivers on wound management and prevention.
Utilize EMR systems for documentation and participate in care planning to reduce rehospitalizations and complications.
Qualifications include VA licensure, with wound care and home health experience preferred; training provided for the right candidate.
Strong clinical, communication, and critical thinking skills required; reliable transportation is necessary.
Offers: $55–$70/hour, flexible scheduling, health benefits, paid time off, and ongoing wound care training. This is a full- or part-time mobile role with autonomous work in the field.
