Job Description

Seeking a Pediatric Surgeon for a locum-to-perm role in Springfield, IL.

Position offers high case volume (~500 cases/year), diverse procedures, and a collaborative team with support from residents and an NP.

Responsibilities include operative cases, clinic hours, and ~10 days/month call with resident coverage.

Full academic appointment with teaching, research support, and potential for faculty rank (Assistant-Professor).

Requirements: Pediatric Surgery fellowship training, BE/BC, eligible for Illinois licensure, experienced or new graduates, interest in program development, and visa sponsorship considered.

Compensation includes a hybrid base + RVU-driven salary, call stipends, sign-on and relocation assistance.

Opportunity to develop specialized centers and expand neonatal and oncology services.
