Job Description

This full-time hospitalist position offers a comprehensive staffing model with day and night shifts, serving a 146-bed hospital with an open ICU and daily census of 68-73 patients.

Work environment includes collegial collaboration, an ED managed by SCP, and an IM residency program, welcoming new graduates.

Qualifications include ABIM or ABFM certification, with preferred VA medical license and DEA. Requires at least 1 year of hospitalist experience.

Compensation ranges from $388,800 to $400,000 annually, with benefits such as health/dental insurance, 401(k), paid time off, relocation, and professional development.

Schedule involves 12-hour day and night shifts (7a-7p and 7p-7a), with flexibility. Located in Blacksburg, VA, near the Blue Ridge and Allegheny mountains, offering a safe, affordable community with numerous leisure activities.
