Responsibilities include:
- Participating in patient and self-education; assessing learning needs and readiness.
- Evaluating care and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure patient outcomes.
- Delivering complex patient care, prioritizing needs, and consulting resources as needed.
- Supporting professional growth, promoting teamwork, cost-effective practices, and safety.
- Assessing patient data, anticipating discharge needs, and fostering family advocacy.
- Collaborating on care planning, considering cultural factors, and prioritizing tasks.
- Engaging with current research and applying applicable studies to practice.
Qualifications include:
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- North Carolina RN licensure and BLS certification.
- At least two years of dialysis nursing experience.
