This position involves providing competent clinical nursing care within professional standards, reporting to the Nurse Manager/Director, and caring for patients on a designated unit.

Responsibilities include:

• Participating in patient and self-education; assessing learning needs and readiness.
• Evaluating care and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure patient outcomes.
• Delivering complex patient care, prioritizing needs, and consulting resources as needed.
• Supporting professional growth, promoting teamwork, cost-effective practices, and safety.
• Assessing patient data, anticipating discharge needs, and fostering family advocacy.
• Collaborating on care planning, considering cultural factors, and prioritizing tasks.
• Engaging with current research and applying applicable studies to practice.

Qualifications include:

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• North Carolina RN licensure and BLS certification.
• At least two years of dialysis nursing experience.

This full-time role requires variable hours with call, within a healthcare organization committed to diversity and community well-being.
