Job Summary:
Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, communication, or swallowing disorders. Develop and implement effective treatment plans. Provide counseling to patients and families regarding test results and treatment options. Set patient understanding, expectations, and goals for therapy. Create accurate documentation and reports for all visits. Maintain communication with staff and outside agencies per regulations. Refer patients to medical specialists as needed. Qualifications/Skills:
Knowledge of various speech and cognitive disorders. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Basic computer literacy. Ability to adhere to regulatory standards. Education and Experience:
Master’s degree in speech-language pathology. 1-3 years of experience in the field. Active Georgia SLP license. ASHA certification preferred. BLS certification. Work Details:
Part-time, PRN position. In-person work location.
