Job Description

Job Summary:


  • Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, communication, or swallowing disorders.
  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans.
  • Provide counseling to patients and families regarding test results and treatment options.
  • Set patient understanding, expectations, and goals for therapy.
  • Create accurate documentation and reports for all visits.
  • Maintain communication with staff and outside agencies per regulations.
  • Refer patients to medical specialists as needed.

    • Qualifications/Skills:


  • Knowledge of various speech and cognitive disorders.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Basic computer literacy.
  • Ability to adhere to regulatory standards.

    • Education and Experience:


  • Master’s degree in speech-language pathology.
  • 1-3 years of experience in the field.
  • Active Georgia SLP license.
  • ASHA certification preferred.
  • BLS certification.

    • Work Details:


  • Part-time, PRN position.
  • In-person work location.
