Job Description
The Substance Abuse Therapist provides individual, group, and family therapy to clients with substance use and co-occurring behavioral health conditions.
Conducts assessments and develops personalized treatment plans in collaboration with clients and teams. Facilitates group sessions on relapse prevention, coping skills, trauma, and recovery. Delivers individual and family counseling as appropriate. Documents services accurately and ensures compliance with clinical and regulatory standards. Coordinates care with multidisciplinary teams and supports discharge planning. Maintains licensure and continuing education requirements. Ensures compliance with HIPAA, Joint Commission, CMS, and state regulations. Qualifications: Master’s degree in a related field, active Colorado licensure (e.g., MSW, LMHC), experience preferred, strong communication and organizational skills.
