Job Description

We are hiring a part-time OB/GYN Physician (12 hours/week) to provide comprehensive women’s healthcare at a correctional facility in San Diego, CA.

Pay rates range from $180 – $190/hour.

The role involves diagnosing and treating reproductive health issues, providing prenatal, postpartum, and menopause care, managing labor and delivery, and performing gynecological procedures such as Pap smears, pelvic exams, and hysterectomies.

Qualifications include an MD or DO degree, OB/GYN residency completion, board certification, active CA license, DEA registration, BLS/CPR certification, and the ability to pass background checks.

Responsibilities encompass patient counseling, health education, medication management, collaboration with healthcare teams, and maintaining accurate records.

Physical capabilities include standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 pounds, and performing physically demanding tasks.
