Job Description

We are hiring an NP for a long-term government contract in Plattsburgh, NY, working 3 days/week in a clinic setting at $60/hour.

  • This role involves conducting non-treatment, DX-only disability exams for Veterans, reviewing medical histories, and completing electronic documentation via web-based forms.
  • The NP will perform assessments, explain procedures to Veterans, complete DBQs and medical opinions, and may order diagnostic tests. No prescribing or treating is involved.
  • Ideal candidates have strong data analysis skills, independence, time management, and proficiency with EMR and Microsoft Office.
  • Qualifications include unrestricted licensure, professionalism, and compassion. Prior VA or C&P experience and clinical background are preferred.
