This locum tenens Rheumatology MD position is based in Harrisburg, PA, with immediate start available. The role involves outpatient clinical care, managing an adult patient panel with an average of 1,216 patients daily, including conditions like arthritis, lupus, vasculitis, and more. Responsibilities include in-person and virtual visits, reviewing therapy plans, overseeing infusions, and performing joint injections. The schedule is Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, with ongoing coverage from November 3, 2025. Requirements include PA medical license, board certification in Rheumatology, active DEA, BLS, and at least 1 year of experience. Compensation covers travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance. The position emphasizes independent practice and managing an established patient panel in an outpatient setting.
