Interventional Cardiology in Lawrence, Kansas
This interventional cardiology role offers the opportunity to step into a growing program where procedural demand, clinical support, and long-term planning are already aligned. You will join a respected regional health system that is actively investing in its cardiovascular services, creating an environment where interventional cardiologists can focus on patient care, procedural excellence, and sustainable growth. Practice Details
- Join a developing interventional team with one full-time and one part-time interventional cardiologist
- Supported by shared APPs, medical assistants, registered nurses, and dedicated heart care navigators
- Perform a broad range of interventional cardiology procedures with Impella support available
- One fully operational cath lab with plans for a second lab opening in 2026
- Program designed to support growth in both volume and complexity
Schedule
- Rotation between clinic responsibilities and cath lab time
- Call coverage averages approximately 10 days per month
- Monday through Friday clinic hours from 7:30am-5:00pm
- Non-call days focused on outpatient care and continuity
Compensation & Benefits
- Robust base salary with strong earning potential
- Generous sign-on bonus and relocation assistance
- 42 days of combined vacation and CME time annually
- $8,500 CME allowance
- Reimbursement for Kansas medical license and DEA fees
Candidate Profile
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Interventional Cardiology
- Comfortable performing a wide range of interventional procedures
- Experience across both inpatient and outpatient settings
- Committed to high-quality, patient-centered cardiovascular care
