Job Description

Seeking a Certified Nurse Practitioner to provide diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventive healthcare services under physician supervision.

• Obtain medical histories and perform physical exams.
• Order, interpret diagnostic tests, and manage chronic diseases and risk factors.
• Document medical information accurately and maintain compliance with Meaningful Use standards.
• Prescribe rehabilitation therapy and medications per physician instructions.
• Educate patients for informed healthcare decisions and refer to specialists when needed.
• Provide care in hospital and office settings, adhering to legal requirements.
• Perform quality screenings and other assigned duties.

Qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Nursing, current RN and NP licensure in Georgia, CPR certification, and at least one year of cardiology experience. Strong communication skills are essential. The position is full-time, in-person, based in Columbus, GA, with benefits such as health insurance, 401(k), and paid time off. Work involves light physical effort and moderate mental concentration, with exposure to potential hazards.
