Independent medical examination for disability claim/evaluation.

*Duties*

This is a 1099 contract on-site role for a physician at Amyozing Health, Inc. in San Francisco, CA. Physician will be responsible for conducting a thorough patient examinations and assessments for disability claim/evaluation. This is a low liability risk position with flexible work schedule. We will work with you to set up a schedule that work best for you and our clients. This role has a potential to be a permanent position and a source of stable income for you.

We are seeking a responsible, dedicated and skilled physician with good interpersonal skills to join our healthcare team. We prefer someone who is available at least one or two days a week (prefer weekdays) on a regular basis. California medical license is a requirement.

A physician applicant must be competent and experienced in performing physical examination, including neurological evaluation. A physician is responsible for conducting a comprehensive medical physical examination, including vital signs, Snellen’s chart, otoscope/ophthalmoscope, range of motion assessment, motor strength tests, gait assessment, sensory assessment, CN’s exam. Physician is also responsible for reviewing prior medical records provided for the visit, completing a consultative examination report (similar to H&P) with functional assessment opinion, and completing any additional follow-up after visit reports or queries from our clients in a timely manner. Physician must be able to work independently, efficiently in a timely manner, and comfortable working alone in an outpatient medical office setting. Physician must comply with federal and state privacy laws, always respecting a patient’s confidentiality. This role does not involve prescribing of medications, medical treatment, or ordering of diagnostic tests.

A physician will be paid $70 for each comprehensive examination once the consultative examination report is signed and accepted. An examination appointment slot may range from 30-40 minutes each but not less than 30 minutes.

Professional liability insurance coverage through Amyozing Health, Inc. is an option for a physician.

*Qualifications*

* Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree
* Prefer board certification or board eligible in an appropriate medical specialty
* Licensure to practice medicine in the state of California
* Excellent clinical and diagnostic skills
* Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
* Ability to work effectively and independently in a fast-paced office-based healthcare environment
* Commitment to providing high-quality patient care

Job Type: Contract

Pay: Up to $160.00 per hour
