About the Position

LocumJobsOnline is working with Lancesoft Inc to find a qualified Trauma Surgery NP in Minneapolis, Minnesota, 55401!

• Daily rounding on admitted trauma patients
• ICU and non-ICU patient management
• Respond to ED trauma alerts
• ER admissions and facilitate discharges
• Perform procedures (preferred):
• Vent management (BiPAP/CPAP)
• Chest tube insertion
• Central and arterial line placement
• Suturing minor lacerations
• Admit and manage all patient conditions (no hospitalists utilized)
• Follow clinical tracking and documentation guidelines

Requirements

• Board Certified ACNP, AGNP, or PA-C – Required
• No FNPs – Required
• Minnesota License – Required at name clear
• ATLS, ACLS, PALS – Required
• DEA (verbal confirmation at name clear) – Required
• NPDB Self-Query (within current month) – Required
• Minimum 1 year inpatient APP experience (trauma/ICU/ortho preferred) – Required
• Must work NOC shift 7p–7:30a – Required
• Local candidate – Preferred
