Join a diverse organization dedicated to improving community health with over 40,000 employees. This role involves providing competent clinical nursing care in a home health setting, reporting to the Nurse Manager/Director.

  • Participate in ongoing education to meet learning needs and assess patient/family readiness to learn.
  • Evaluate patient outcomes, collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, and communicate effectively for continuity of care.
  • Deliver complex patient care, prioritize needs, and consult resources as needed, adhering to standards and policies.
  • Develop professional goals, promote collaboration, participate in quality improvement, and support a safe environment.
  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, anticipate discharge needs, and foster family relationships to support advocacy.
  • Collaborate with patients and families in care planning, considering cultural factors and prioritizing tasks.
  • Engage with current research to enhance practice and bring new ideas for team discussion.

  • Requirements: Graduation from a nursing program, RN licensure in North Carolina, and at least 2 years of relevant nursing experience.
    Note: Must reside more than 50 miles from the campus. The position offers onsite work with variable hours and is exempt from overtime.
