The Part-Time Nurse Practitioner in Gastroenterology provides comprehensive GI care under physician supervision, focusing on patient assessment, diagnosis, and management of gastrointestinal and liver conditions.

  • Perform evaluations, interpret diagnostic results, and develop treatment plans.
  • Prescribe medications and therapies within scope, and educate patients on disease management and lifestyle changes.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless care and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Adhere to clinical, ethical, and legal standards per Texas Board of Nursing regulations.

    • Qualifications include a Master’s degree in Nursing, an active Texas Nurse Practitioner license, national certification, and at least one year of NP experience. The role requires strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and teamwork. The schedule involves two days per week on-site, with potential for additional shifts, totaling about 20 hours weekly. Physical abilities include standing, walking, and assisting patients in a clinical environment. The position requires relocation before starting work in Farwell, TX.
