Physician Assistant position in Cardiothoracic Surgery located in Greenville, SC. This is a 2-week locum assignment starting ASAP, offering competitive weekly pay. The role involves working primarily in inpatient settings (90%) with some outpatient (10%), focusing on adult patients. Responsibilities include vein harvesting, assisting on open heart surgeries, ICU admissions, and perioperative care. The schedule is Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:00 PM, with call duties (~5% weekdays, ~75% weekends) included in the pay. The caseload averages 10 patients daily, supported by a team of surgeons and APPs. Candidates need at least 2 years of cardiothoracic surgery experience, ACLS, DEA, and active SC license or willingness to obtain it. Epic EMR experience is preferred. The role ranks in the top 10–15% of market pay for such roles in SC.
