Job Description

The RN is responsible for assessing patients, developing and updating care plans, and delivering safe, therapeutic nursing care across diverse patient populations, including pediatric, adult, and geriatric groups. They provide leadership and supervision to LVN/LPNs, nursing assistants, and clerical staff, and may serve as charge nurse. Key duties include evaluating patient responses, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, educating patients and families, and maintaining effective communication while ensuring confidentiality. The role requires a BSN (preferred), at least 6 months to 1 year of RN experience, and certifications such as BLS and ACLS. New hires undergo orientation and competency validation, with ongoing annual requirements. The schedule involves three 12-hour shifts per week, full-time employment.
