Job Description
Seeking an Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner in Roanoke Rapids, NC for a locum tenens position with ASAP start and ongoing coverage.
Outpatient setting seeing patients of all ages (6 months and up) with an average of 20-40 patients per shift. Must be able to independently evaluate and treat patients, perform minor procedures like I&D, lac repairs, and ear irrigations. Support staff includes center managers, MAs, PSA, with offsite supervising physicians. Requires active NC license, BLS, at least 1 year of experience, and BC. DOT and PALS/ACLS preferred. Proficiency with Epic EMR required, with training provided prior to solo shifts. Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance covered. No travel mileage needed. Candidates should have good soft skills, be able to work solo, and support multiple locations within a 65-mile radius.
