This full-time Night Nurse role involves providing competent clinical nursing care in a home health setting, reporting to the Nurse Manager/Director.
- Participate in patient and family education, assessing learning needs and readiness.
- Evaluate and adjust care plans collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team, ensuring continuity of care.
- Deliver complex patient care, utilizing standards and policies, and prioritize patient needs.
- Develop professional growth goals, promote teamwork, and support performance improvement initiatives.
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, identifying priorities, discharge needs, and safety considerations.
- Collaborate with patients and families to plan and update care, addressing cultural and individual needs.
- Engage with current research and bring applicable ideas to the team.
Qualifications include graduation from an accredited nursing program, active RN licensure in North Carolina, and at least one year of experience caring for acutely and chronically ill patients.
