Job Description

Seeking a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to lead neonatal resuscitations, develop NICU care plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a 24/7 in-person setting in Bend, OR.

Responsibilities include managing neonatal emergencies, performing assessments, developing treatment plans, prescribing medications, and supporting family-centered care. Clinical skills required encompass intubation, resuscitation, line placements, ventilator management, and procedures like thoracentesis.

Non-clinical duties involve quality improvement projects, educational programs, mentorship, and participation in hospital committees. The role emphasizes professionalism, confidentiality, and adherence to regulatory standards.

Qualifications include at least two years of NICU experience, appropriate licensure and certifications, EMR proficiency, and strong communication skills. Preferred candidates have NICU transport experience and Epic EMR familiarity.

Work schedule involves 12-hour shifts with day and night coverage; no formal call duties. Compensation ranges from $168,539 to $180,297 annually, with benefits including health, dental, vision, and retirement plans. Candidates must be able to relocate to Bend, OR.
