Job Description
The Nurse Manager, L&D oversees daily operations of the Labor and Delivery unit, ensuring quality patient care, staff performance, and staff development.
Promotes collaborative practice with other departments, physicians, and nursing schools.
Requires at least 5 years of L&D experience, current RN license, and certifications including NRP, ACLS, BLS, and AWHONN Fetal Monitoring.
Must have a thorough understanding of OR processes and L&D protocols.
Demonstrates strong leadership, communication skills, and the ability to manage 24/7 staffing needs.
Requires judgment, independent decision-making, and adaptability to complex situations.
Position is full-time, in person, with a salary range of $70,000 to $130,000 annually.
