Job Description
The Nurse Manager, L&D oversees daily operations in the Labor and Delivery unit, ensuring quality patient care, staff performance, and staff development.
Promotes collaboration with other departments, physicians, and nursing schools to solve complex technical and administrative challenges. Requires a minimum of 5 years’ experience in L&D, with certifications in NRP, ACLS, BLS, and AWHONN Fetal Monitoring. Must have a thorough understanding of OR processes and L&D protocols, strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to manage 24/7 staffing needs. Requires independent judgment, adaptability, and a current RN license. The role is full-time, in person, with a salary range of $70,000–$130,000 annually.
