This paid internship offers graduate students pursuing a Master’s in Social Services a chance to gain hands-on experience in children’s mental and behavioral health programs, including home-based counseling, treatment foster care, and transitional services.
Responsibilities include shadowing counselors, assisting with assessments and documentation, learning electronic medical records, and implementing therapy under supervision.
Programs use proven treatment models like Multisystemic Therapy and Family Treatment.
Intern placement is determined during the interview based on availability and experience.
