The Lead Physician in Rural Primary Care Services oversees high-quality healthcare delivery at rural sites, ensuring clinical standards, supervising providers, and supporting onboarding and training.
Responsibilities include diagnosing and treating patients, providing backup support, conducting provider evaluations, managing clinical risk, and collaborating on quality improvement, health IT initiatives, and rural health education.
Qualifications require a board-certified MD/DO with California licensure, CME, BLS certification, and experience in primary care, management, and patient-centered models. Bilingual skills are preferred.
