The Lead Physician, Rural Primary Care Services, oversees high-quality healthcare delivery at rural sites, ensuring clinical guidelines, risk management, and provider supervision are maintained.

Responsibilities include providing patient diagnosis and treatment, supervising providers, onboarding new staff, and leading rural health training initiatives.

Leadership duties involve ensuring provider competency, conducting evaluations, managing clinical risks, and collaborating on quality improvement and health IT projects.

Qualifications require a Board-Certified MD or DO with California licensure, experience in primary care, management, and familiarity with NCQA PCMH and Joint Commission standards are preferred.
