Job Description
The qualified Nurse, with experience in a similar clinical setting, practices independently and manages both routine and complex patient care, including long-term planning. They demonstrate ongoing development in handling clinical contingencies and effectively delegate tasks to care team members.
Responsibilities include providing nursing care according to professional standards, assessing and addressing patients’ psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs, administering medications and treatments following protocols, documenting patient information, and educating patients and families.
Requirements involve a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (preferred), at least 1 year of relevant experience, a valid RN license, BLS certification, and additional certifications like ACLS within specified timeframes. New hires attend orientation, complete competency validations, and work a 7PM-7AM schedule.
