Physiatrist (PM&R)

Job Description

The organization specializes in behavioral medicine, medical psychology, chronic pain rehab, and neurocognitive treatments. As they expand into Los Angeles, they seek a Physiatrist (PM&R) to support patients with musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, and functional impairments.

The Role

• Provide outpatient non-surgical rehabilitation for musculoskeletal, neurological, and chronic pain conditions
• Perform functional and impairment evaluations
• Collaborate with therapy, behavioral health, and occupational medicine teams
• Track progress and optimize interventions
• Document findings per Workers’ Compensation standards

Qualifications

• Board-Certified or Eligible in PM&R
• Active California medical license
• Experience with musculoskeletal and neurorehabilitation cases
• Workers’ Compensation experience preferred
• Strong documentation and interdisciplinary communication skills
• Patient-focused with emphasis on functional outcomes
