Work at a Level II Trauma Center with a busy cardiac surgery program, performing routine procedures like CABG and valve surgeries.
The role includes weekday OR coverage, inpatient rounding, and a structured 1-in-3 call rotation with emergency privileges.
Compensation ranks in the top 5–10% nationally, with prepaid travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance provided.
Responsibilities involve adult cardiothoracic surgeries, collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, and participation in overnight and weekend calls.
Candidates must be board-certified with strong CABG and valve experience, comfortable with aortic and structural heart cases, and hold an active Minnesota license or IMLC.
Schedule includes Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM, with 12-hour night calls and 24-hour weekend coverage during call weeks.
