📝 Job Description

High-volume Emergency Medicine locum opportunity in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. Provide care to patients of all ages in a fast-paced ED with strong specialty and inpatient backup. Shifts include a mix of days and nights, weekends, and holidays. Physicians see 16–22 patients per shift, with combined ED and Urgent Care volume of 200+ patients daily. EMR: Cerner 💻

  • 12-hour shifts, approximately 3 per week

  • Double physician coverage

  • Manage typical Emergency Department acuity 🚑

  • Collaborate with nursing staff, consultants, and specialty services

Requirements

✅ Requirements

  • MD or DO

  • Active Oklahoma medical license

  • EM board certified or board eligible

    • FM with ED experience considered

  • Minimum 2 years ED or Urgent Care experience

  • Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications

  • Active DEA

  • Flexible to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays

  • Comfortable managing high-volume ED patients of all ages

  • Proficient with Cerner EMR 💻
