Job Description
This contract Speech-Language Pathologist position in the Early Intervention department involves conducting assessments, planning and providing therapy, and consulting with families and team members to support communication development in children aged 0-3.
Responsibilities include evaluating developmental progress, creating individualized service plans, maintaining records, and participating in trans-disciplinary team collaboration, often serving as a team lead.
Qualifications require a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Therapy, CCC or supervised certification, NM licensure, and experience with young children preferred.
Skills include current knowledge of speech therapy practices, effective communication, teamwork, bilingual abilities a plus, and ability to work flexibly in various environments.
Work involves travel within counties, manual dexterity, and occasional evening or weekend hours. Must pass background checks, have a valid NM driver’s license, and be willing to relocate before starting.
