Urgent Care Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner

AFC Urgent Care is interviewing Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to work at our Newest Location, *Lenoir, North Carolina.*

*Responsibilities and Duties*

* AFC Urgent Care providers evaluate and treat patients in an efficient and effective manner.
* AFC providers must be comfortable assessing pediatrics as young as 6 months old.
* They also must be comfortable in performing procedures in which a local anesthetic may be used.
* AFC providers conduct annual, sports, school, and pre-employment physicals, vaccinations, and interpret results from diagnostic services such as labs and x-rays.

*Qualifications and Skills*

* AFC providers must be Board Certified or Board Eligible with AANPCP, ANCC or NCCPA;
* Have an active North Carolina State License, DEA number, be (or willing to become) DOT Certified, current BLS, and registered with CAQH.

*Must have at least 1 year experience in ER or urgent care setting. Must be autonomous, flexible and dependable.*

Experience:
* EMR systems: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:
* Certified Nurse Practitioner (Preferred)
