COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

• Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered (mileage, airfare, lodging, rental car & fuel, ground transportation)
• Lodging Cap: $150/night (for providers >40 miles from facility)
• Airfare Cap: $500 domestic / $600 international roundtrip (approval required if exceeded) REQUIRED PROCEDURES
• Vein harvesting using Vasoview hemopro system
• Central line placement
• Arterial line placement
• Chest tube management
• Wound care vac management

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Licenses: Maryland license (or eligibility to obtain)
• Board: Board Certified
• DEA: Required
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CSR license
• Experience: Minimum 3 years in CV OR; must have cardiovascular OR experience
• Other Qualifications: Proficiency in vein harvesting with Vasoview hemopro

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Arrive at 6:30am, review OR patients, and complete interval H&P notes
• Assist in 12 CV surgery cases per day, averaging 25 days/week
• Provide post-op care including central/arterial lines, chest tubes, and wound vac management
• Support consults and CV ICU patients when not in OR
• Manage 815 patients in collaboration with surgical team until discharge
• Participate in team-based care; not a solo role
