Hematology/Oncology Physician

In this role, you will provide expert medical care for hematology and oncology patients in an outpatient clinic setting. You will work alongside advanced practice providers and a team of physicians, delivering high-quality care to approximately 15 patients per day, with a low-volume, solo provider model. The position requires recent patient-facing experience and offers a 12-month contract, starting as soon as possible.
Required Skills:
- Recent hands-on patient care experience in hematology and/or oncology
- Board Certification in Hematology and Oncology or Internal Medicine with subspecialty
- Proficiency in EMR systems, specifically Meditech
- Strong clinical skills and the ability to work independently in a solo provider setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to support staff and collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience working in outpatient clinic settings
- Knowledge of the Meditech EMR platform
- Bilingual abilities
- Additional certifications relevant to hematology or oncology care
Preferred Education and Experience:
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Minimum of 2 years’ recent, relevant clinical experience in hematology/oncology
- Active medical licensure in the applicable state
- Board Certification in Hematology and Oncology
Other Requirements:
- Must have recent patient-facing experience
- Eligible to work in the United States
- Traveling or relocation assistance may be available
- Licensure, certification, and credentialing typically completed within 60 days
This position offers an hourly pay rate of $479.70, with weekly pay via direct deposit.
