Job Description
This position offers a _$1000 signing bonus_, paid with the first paycheck, contingent on remaining employed for one year.
*Job Purpose*
Provide alcohol and drug education, counseling, screening, intake, assessment, intervention, referral, and related services to qualified clients in individual and group settings under clinical supervision.
*Key Responsibilities*
Deliver education, intervention, assessment, and counseling services within a substance abuse treatment program.
Maintain client files per confidentiality laws and agency policies.
Offer structured activities for clients and families, modeling healthy lifestyles and recovery practices.
Coordinate care with staff and external providers, manage emergencies, and ensure safety policies are followed.
Ensure compliance with all organizational, contractual, and ethical standards, including timely documentation and communication.
*Qualifications & Skills*
High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree and relevant experience preferred.
Must be a registered counselor intern with supervision and planning to complete required practicum hours.
Strong communication, case management, and rapport-building skills; bilingual abilities preferred.
Reliable transportation and phone required.
*Compensation & Benefits*
Salary ranges from $45,000 to $51,500 annually, with benefits including health, dental, vision, life insurance, and paid time off.
