Job Description
The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) provides evaluation, treatment, and education for residents with communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders in a skilled nursing setting.
Responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing personalized treatment plans, providing direct therapy, documenting progress, collaborating with the care team, and educating residents, families, and staff.
Requirements include a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, valid state licensure, preferred CCC-SLP certification, and experience in geriatrics or skilled nursing.
