Leadership opportunity for a full-time Evening Charge Nurse reporting to the Nursing Director at a senior living community.
Hands-on role responsible for planning, organizing, and supervising resident care programs, staff training, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Coordinates care, manages resident files, and maintains relationships with residents, families, and healthcare partners. Manages medication administration, assessments, service plans, and documentation, including EMAR and Nurse’s Notes. Assists with staffing, recruiting, onboarding, and staff training, including new hire orientation and performance reviews. Participates in safety and committee meetings, maintains inventory, and ensures HIPAA and regulatory compliance. Provides 24/7 on-call coverage with a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays. Qualifications include RN licensure, CPR certification, healthcare management experience, and at least 2 years working with dementia residents.
