Charge Nurse/RN Supervisor

Job Description

This leadership role reports directly to the Nursing Director and involves hands-on nursing and supervisory responsibilities as an Evening Charge Nurse from 2pm-10pm, including on-call duties.

Key responsibilities include:

• Planning, developing, and overseeing resident-centered care programs
• Leading and training nursing staff and Resident Assistants to deliver quality care in compliance with regulations
• Managing resident assessments, care plans, and documentation, including Electronic Health Records and medication management
• Coordinating staff hiring, scheduling, and performance evaluations
• Maintaining resident files, ensuring regulatory compliance, and fostering relationships with residents, families, and healthcare partners
• Participating in safety teams, inventory management, and emergency response

Qualifications include a current RN license, experience in geriatrics and long-term care, management experience with teams of six or more, and CPR certification. Preferred candidates have a bachelor’s degree and at least one year of case management experience.
