Job Description
This leadership role reports directly to the Nursing Director and involves hands-on supervision as a full-time Evening Charge Nurse (2pm-10pm).
Responsible for planning, developing, organizing, and directing resident-centered care programs. Assist in leading, training, and supervising nursing staff and Resident Assistants to ensure quality personal care in compliance with regulations. Manage resident files, coordinate care, and communicate health updates to families and medical teams. Oversee medication management, assessments, and care plans, ensuring accurate documentation and regulatory compliance. Participate in staffing, recruitment, onboarding, and performance evaluations. Maintain inventory, uphold safety protocols, and ensure confidentiality and HIPAA compliance. Provide on-call support, respond to emergencies, and contribute to community safety and culture. Qualifications include RN licensure, CPR certification, experience in geriatrics and long-term care management, and leadership skills managing teams of six or more.
