Job Description
This leadership role reports directly to the Nursing Director and involves hands-on nursing and supervisory responsibilities as a full-time Evening Charge Nurse (2pm-10pm).
Responsible for planning, organizing, and directing person-centered care programs for residents. Leads and trains nursing staff and Resident Assistants to ensure compliant personal care delivery. Oversees resident care staff, including hiring and performance management under supervision. Maintains resident records per state regulations and ensures effective communication with residents, families, and healthcare providers. Assists with assessments, care planning, medication management, and documentation, including EMAR and electronic health records. Ensures staffing coverage, participates in onboarding, training, and performance reviews. Supports safety protocols, inventory management, and regulatory compliance. Provides on-call support for emergencies and urgent resident needs. Qualifications include RN licensure, healthcare management experience, and demonstrated leadership skills.
