Job Description
This leadership role reports directly to the Nursing Director and involves hands-on supervision as an Evening Charge Nurse (2pm-10pm), including on-call responsibilities.
It entails planning, developing, and implementing person-centered care programs for residents. Responsibilities include training staff, coordinating resident care, managing medication administration, maintaining resident files, and ensuring compliance with regulations. The role requires overseeing staffing, recruiting, and onboarding, as well as participating in safety and committee activities. Qualifications include RN licensure, healthcare management experience in retirement communities, and at least 2 years working with residents with dementia.
