Job Description

This leadership role reports to the Nursing Director and involves hands-on supervision as a full-time Evening Charge Nurse (2pm-10pm), including on-call duties.

  • Responsibilities include planning, organizing, and directing person-centered care programs for residents, leading and training nursing staff and Resident Assistants, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Maintains resident files, oversees medication management, and coordinates communication among care team members.
  • Participates in staffing, recruitment, onboarding, and performance reviews.
  • Ensures proper documentation, safety protocols, inventory, and adherence to HIPAA and state regulations.
  • Provides 24/7 on-site emergency response coverage every other week.
  • Qualifications include RN licensure, CPR certification, healthcare management experience in retirement communities, and at least 2 years working with dementia patients.
