Job Description
This leadership role reports to the Nursing Director and involves hands-on supervision as a full-time Evening Charge Nurse (2pm-10pm), including on-call duties.
Responsibilities include planning, organizing, and directing person-centered care programs for residents, leading and training nursing staff and Resident Assistants, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Maintains resident files, oversees medication management, and coordinates communication among care team members. Participates in staffing, recruitment, onboarding, and performance reviews. Ensures proper documentation, safety protocols, inventory, and adherence to HIPAA and state regulations. Provides 24/7 on-site emergency response coverage every other week. Qualifications include RN licensure, CPR certification, healthcare management experience in retirement communities, and at least 2 years working with dementia patients.
