Job Description
This leadership role reports directly to the Nursing Director and involves hands-on supervision as a full-time Evening Charge Nurse (2pm-10pm), including on-call responsibilities.
Responsibilities include planning, developing, and coordinating person-centered care programs, leading and training nursing staff and Resident Assistants, and ensuring compliance with regulations. The role involves managing resident care assessments, maintaining electronic health records, medication management, and effective communication with residents, families, and healthcare partners.
Additional duties encompass staffing coordination, staff onboarding and training, incident follow-up, inventory management, and adherence to safety and confidentiality standards. On-site coverage is required 24/7 on a rotating basis.
Qualifications include a current RN license, CPR certification, healthcare management experience in retirement communities, and at least 2 years working with dementia residents. Strong interpersonal skills, organizational ability, and flexibility are essential. Benefits include health insurance, 401(k), paid time off, and tuition reimbursement.
