This leadership role reports directly to the Nursing Director and involves hands-on supervision as a full-time Evening Charge Nurse (2pm-10pm) with on-call responsibilities.
Responsibilities include planning, developing, and directing person-centered care programs, leading and training nursing staff and Resident Assistants, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Maintains resident files, manages medication administration, and coordinates communication among care teams, residents, families, and healthcare providers. Assists with staff hiring, onboarding, training, and performance reviews, while overseeing schedules and inventory. Ensures safety protocols, HIPAA compliance, and responds to emergencies onsite. Qualifications include an active RN license, CPR certification, healthcare management experience, and at least 2 years working with residents with dementia and long-term care.
