Job Description
The Clinical Supervisor collaborates with Nursing Leadership to oversee shift operations and ensure nursing care safety and quality.
They guide daily nursing services, support patient and family care through interdisciplinary teamwork, and supervise nursing staff, providing patient care when necessary.
Demonstrating professionalism and excellence, they serve as role models for clinical and service standards.
Requirements include a graduate of an accredited nursing school (BSN preferred), current RN license in New Mexico, BLS certification, and additional certifications like ACLS, PALS, or TNCC within specified timelines.
Preferred experience is three years; skills must align with patient age groups served.
They work irregular hours, handle multiple activities, and are exposed to infectious diseases and unpredictable situations. Physical demands include emergency response, prolonged standing, good body mechanics, and manual dexterity.
Supervised by Nursing Leadership, the role involves adhering to safety standards and maintaining high-quality patient care.
