Seeking a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Social Worker (LSW), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) for a full-time role in the medical department at a correctional facility in McElhattan, PA.

  • Conduct clinical assessments, including mental status exams, diagnoses, and treatment plans; make appropriate referrals to psychiatry.
  • Perform risk assessments for inmates at risk of suicide or self-harm, following established protocols.
  • Serve as the mental health liaison, facilitate inmate admissions to forensic hospitals, and monitor mental health services to ensure quality care.
  • Participate in the Quality Assurance Committee and develop in-service education programs.
  • Collect data and prepare monthly performance reports.

    Requirements: Licensed as LPC, LSW, or LCSW in PA, Master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Psychology, or related field, with at least two years of experience.
