Job Description

The Wound Care Nurse Practitioner (NP), supervised by the CMO, provides specialized wound care to patients at home, nursing homes, and assisted living facilities.

  • They perform assessments, develop care plans, and educate patients and caregivers to promote healing.

  • Responsibilities include supervising staff, managing documentation, and coordinating with healthcare teams.

  • Qualifications include a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing, active licensure, at least 2 years of clinical experience, and wound care certification within 6 months.

  • The role requires physical effort, field-based travel, and adherence to safety protocols, with a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

  • Essential functions encompass wound assessment, treatment, supervision, documentation, and collaboration, with a focus on infection control and patient safety.
